  1. Manage multiple accounts with the same email

    There is a way to create multiple logins for the same Mailgun account but we can't reuse an existing account. The error message is:

    Error: Unable to invite user. User already exists

    We need a way to manage multiple accounts under the same email, not having this is a total nightmare :\ We have this in Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, Mailchimp, etc ...

    There is no way I will ask my clients to forward me the "passcode" everytime I need to login on my client's account.

  2. Add option to move tracking pixel to beginning of email

    Our platform allows users to generate emails and send them. Some of them are quite long, and end up being truncated by email clients like Gmail. This results in open events not being tracked for many of the emails, since the tracking pixel is at the bottom and the email was truncated. It would be great to be able to optionally move the tracking pixel to the beginning of the email.

  3. Please add support for assigning a specific attachment to each recipient in batch sending.

    At this time Mailgun does not provide support for sending user specific attachments in batch mailing. Please add the support for that. In case of sending thousands of emails, we have to call the mailgun APIs thousands of times which does not look a valid approach. And we can't send URL of the attachments in the emails because the attachments files are stored temporarily on the server and it's confidential.

    Adding this feature will be very helpful.

    Thanks a lot.

  4. Add new mailing list type: "members-anon" to allow membership without revealing member email addresses

    I'd like to be able to create mailing lists, where all the members participate without revealing their email addresses.

    So you'd email the mailing list address, and when the list's members receive your email, the From and Reply-To email headers have the list's email address, and not your personal email address.

    I imagine this could be done with the addition of a new type of mailing list, perhaps called "members-anon" to indicate that it is still a members only list, but that the members can participate anonymously.

    There's an interesting expression : "if you want to see a person's true…

  5. Cannot access SMTP passwords like in the old dashboard

    SMTP credentials passwords are not visible. The only way to access a password is to reset it. This is really not great!

  7. Auto-detection feature for affected IP-addresses

    A problem with sending email with Mailgun is: many Mailgun users are using the same IP-address. When another user is sending spam, all emails from that IP-address to Hotmail/Live addresses are blocked, until Mailgun has assegned a new IP-address after a couple of hours (when I create a ticket).

    My idea: an automatic affected IP-address detection. When Microsoft returns an error "bad IP reputation", then automatically assign a new IP address and resend the failed emails.

  8. GET /<domain>/tags pagination urls to return with https instead of http

    request pagination urls with https instead of http, for example: https://api.mailgun.net/v2/<domain>/tags?page=next&tag=<tag>&limit=1000,
    Currently GET /<domain>/tags pagination urls with http instead of https.
    ["first"]=> string(76) "http://api.mailgun.net/v2/<domain>/tags?page=first&tag=&limit=1000"
    ["last"]=> string(75) "http://api.mailgun.net/v2/<domain>/tags?page=last&tag=&limit=1000"
    ["next"]=> string(88) "http://api.mailgun.net/v2/<domain>/tags?page=next&tag=<tag>&limit=1000"
    ["previous"]=> string(99) "http://api.mailgun.net/v2/<domain>/tags?page=prev&tag=<tag>&limit=1000"
    and calling on http://api.mailgun.net/v2/<domain>/tags?page=next&tag=<tag>&limit=1000
    returns NULL

    thank you

  9. returns Stats for all Tags instead of just specific Tag

    For Stats regarding specific Tags, need to use the `/<domain>/tag/<tag_name>/stats` endpoint.
    Reference: https://documentation.mailgun.com/en/latest/api-tags.html#tags

    Will it be possible to request for an endpoint that returns Stats for all Tags instead of just specific Tag please?

  10. A way to identify attached vs embedded images in incoming mail.

    In incoming mails all the files - embedded or attached - come in one big bunch.
    It's also impossible to re-build the HTML, because the identifiers aren't there.

    If there was an extra array passed on with the request, containing file names with their original identifiers, this would become possible.

  12. Create a placeholder space for the log while it loading so it doesn't change page length.

    The chart on the logs page takes a while to load. I would create a place holder space so that the search bar and log doesn't get pushed down and lose focus while the chart is loading.

  14. Fetch Support

    Would be great if you guys support fetch requests. Right now all your API options do not support a serverless application such as React Native.

  15. Zapier Integration - Add Routes

    Add the ability to create/edit/delete Routes in Mailgun via Zapier.

    I would like Zapier to create a client friendly email route of ClientX@mycompany.com in Mailgun and forward any inbound emails to 123xyz@basecamp.com, a randomly generated and long email address that's unique for each Basecamp project.

    This will save a lot of time when setting up new client accounts, rather than configuring the Route manually. I'm sure that there are hundreds of other uses for making Routes accessible via Zapier as well.

  16. GoDaddy DNS Conflicts

    The information provided causes direct conflicts with the way GoDaddy handles DNS. Since you mention GoDaddy on your page, it would be VERY helpful to make special notes regarding GoDaddy's conventions. I've wasted 5 days trying to get connected.
    GoDaddy does not allow the use of the domain name (***.com) in DNS records. The @ sign always replaces the domain name. When the domain name is the end of a hostname parameter, it should be omitted (k1._domainkey.xxxcom should be k1._domainkey).
    Lastly, the use of the CNAME host parameter "email" conflicts with their system, and MX records may also cause problems…

  17. Better Email Editor

    Please make a better WYWIWYG email editor. Have a look at your competitors, like SendInBlue. There system is excellent. See attached image of their email editor. By comparison editing templates in MailGun is like living in a dark cave with no electricity.

  18. attachment

    Can we have options or features to allow the change of email attachment size accordingly.

    For now, its limits to 25, but we look forward that we can adjust it accordingly to our policy but ensure within acceptable global standard such as 50MB.

  19. Sanitize and/or parse addresses in headers for incoming email

    Standard email headers such as FROM, CC, TO, SENDER, etc. contain email addresses, groups, or lists of addresses as described in RFC 5322.

    Mailgun currently passes on the (transcoded) data as it is received, including any errors that buggy MUAs or ESPs may send. Moreover, most libraries only do very strict parsing; This forces developers to implement lenient parsing themselves to ensure all incoming email is accepted.

    Mailgun could sanitize these fields in a way that we can really trust the headers and use a strict parser on them. That would be a big plus.

    It would even BETTER if…

  20. folder

    Folder structure for handling large quantities of templates. We have MANY templates that fall into different categories, and it would be helpful to have a folder structure to simplify navigation and identification of templates when applying updates...rather than scrolling through a long list.
