  1. Message too old, error code: 602.

    We understand that the error is a result of Mailgun not reaching the recipient mail server.

    I looked for this error online and only found external sources (except for the feedback):

    It would be nice if Mailgun would note this error and provide more descriptive information and how to solve this issue. We didn't know what that error meant until we asked the client to whitelist the Ip ranges from the domain we are using to send from.

  2. Email Notifications if there is a jump in delivered emails

    I use Mailgun for transactional emails for a ton of domains. There was 1 domain that recently caused an issue where a ton of spam submissions started being sent through one of the forms on a website. The account lock could have easily been avoided if there was some type of email notification system in place.

    This issue with 1 domain caused Mailgun to block our account, and then triggered a series of requirements to get the account unblocked:
