Alert and Notify based on Sending Metrics and Usage
There are some delivery issues which usually warrant manual inspection and care by the administrative users. I feel that continuing to send emails to addresses that have ended up in the Bounces list would at least be one of them.
It would be convenient if the user could select certain common delivery issues like this and get a notification about them emailed to a specified email address. This email address could then be a mailing list for administrative personel who could look in to the error and see it they should act upon it.
It is possible to implement this with the webhook, but it is not very convenient. It is also possible to log in to mailgun every day to check the logs, but it is not very convenient either.
The ability to get an email for each error as it happens would be the first step. If you want to go further, add the option to receive daily digests of the errors.

Add the ability to send alarms in the form of emails or webhooks in response to set criteria, e.g. delivery rate drops below 95% or more than 10000 temporary failures in an hour.

Email Notifications when send threshold is met. (i.e. send an email when > 5000 emails are sent in 1 day). Every once in a while we have a bad actor that uses our system to try to send out spam emails in bulk. This causes the sent emails for that day to spike way above normal. Would be nice to have alerts for when this happens so I can investigate right away, rather than just see it happened in the past the next time I log in to Mailgun, which isn't often.

You REALLY need a system that sends an email to me when your system registers that one of my emails failed to deliver. I don't have time to check this site every day. It should be automatically notifying me when a failure occurs. - Ben

The only feedback I have is that we should get some kind of notification when one of our emails fails to go through. Our business relies on emails reaching their destinations; Mailgun should raise an alarm when one does not.

Hello,
is there a chance we can get notifications when the number of emails sent is dropping or increasing? Some alerts like "emails sent dropped by 50% this week". This would help us to send unfortunate issues with the integration when we send something x10 times instead of one, or when we don't send it for 1 week. Both are real things happened to us over the last months :) -

Agreed, same here. If we had received email alerts that emails were being generated at a threshold either we set or based on past history, that would have allowed us to investigate and potentially stop it. This ties with my other feature request is to have a Pause Domain feature so that if alerted, we can immediately go in and pause the domain and stop all sending until an investigation can be carried out.

I use Mailgun on many websites to deliver contact form messages, and sometimes the contact forms are submitted by a spammer and get marked as junk (by my clients who receive these messages from their websites). Their email address is then added to the "complaints" list and they subsequently do not receive any further emails from their website, missing out on sales and enquiries.
Can we please get a notification so that we know when an email address has been added to the Complaints list? I can't login every day and check all domains individually just in case. This is not scaleable, at the moment I am using this solution for about 15 websites but would like to do it on about 100, but I just can't do it if we don't have this feature.
I also tried to set something up through Zapier so that I can get a notification, but it appears that I would have to do this separately for EACH domain, which is not practical. -

The email delivery is really important for us and many online shops... If we would have a notification to know that an email is rejected or not delivered to the customer, it would be great and time and money saving.
A browser or an app push notification would be great to report if the email is sent or not.
Thank you

Hello!
Maybe you can add email notification if there are a lot of fail email sendings? We just missed that our email domain was blocked by Mail.Ru servers. -

Please implement an alert feature, so that I can see if an exceptional number of emails are being sen, as this indicates something is wrong, but I doesn't stop authentic emails going out.

It would be great if there was an alert system that allowed us to send an email to someone on our team if the number of email sends for a particular domain were lower or higher than a certain range. You could also extend this to bounce rates, suppressed, etc. We have had a few issues with sending that went undetected and it would have been great to be alerted this way.

More generally it would be great if it were possible to choose an email address instead of a url for webhooks.
