Webhook URL provisioning based on filter expressions (e.g. tags)
Currently limited webhooks can be created at the account or domain level and can only be limited to unique urls per event types.
It would be very useful if different webhook urls can be configured based on additional filter expressions like tags or some other parameter. The Analytics Logs API allows filtering on several parameters and for customers moving away from that to using webhooks this feature would add value.

GCP Marketplace Onboarding Experience
Upon subscribing to a Mailgun plan via the GCP Marketplace, we were not provided with clear instructions on how to complete the onboarding process on the Mailgun platform. Guidance on the next steps following subscription activation would greatly improve the customer experience.

Although our subscription includes phone-based support, we have been unable to access this benefit. Currently, our only option is to submit support cases online, which appears to follow the same process as free-tier users without a defined response SLA. Add Plan Based Message Limit Notifications without needing to add a custom message limit
This suggestion is to proactively alert users when certain sending limit checkpoints are reached in order to prevent unexpected overages.

Customer would like to be able to change their domain's syntax without removing the domain from the account and losing domain specific data.

Provide audit logs for suppressions on the mailgun UI or API endpoint
For martechs and major corporations that are using Mailgun. There will be multiple teams handling the email solutions. Hence, having an audit logs for suppression lists, will allow corporations to see who and what and when was the data entry removed or added.

Ability to Save Custom Client Sets in Optimize Email Preview
I’d like to request a feature enhancement for the Optimize tool in Email Preview.
Currently, it’s possible to manually select a custom set of email clients for each preview run, but there’s no option to save that selection for future use. It would be extremely helpful if users could create and save their own named client sets—similar to the existing “All clients” and “Most popular” presets—and easily reuse them across sessions.
This would save time and improve consistency when testing emails across a specific group of clients that are relevant to our audience.

Specific error message when trying to send emails despite having an expired payment method
I just spent the last week or so trying to solve an issue where Mailgun was preventing me from sending emails and throwing this error message: "Mailgun Error 420: Domain [my domain] is not allowed to send: recipient limit exceeded." It turned out my payment method had expired, and even though I hadn't actually exceeded my recipient limit, the platform was blocking me. Please update the error message for better understanding.

Pagination is incomplete
Please add the number of records being shown on the pagination. Currently, there is no way to see how many rows are in a table.

Testmode per domain instead of via parameters
At the moment you can test with setting the 'X-Mailgun-Drop-Message' or the o:testmode
This is working fine but i think it is still kind of 'tricky'
We used other tools than mailgun before and there was it a option to set a complete domain in testmode.
So this will always prevent you from sending emails when not intended2 votes -
Visual Builder Updates
The visual builder is great for general design, but is missing a couple of features I think would be great for transactional emails. First would be a way to create a "component" with multiple basic design elements. A component would be a group of titles, text, image, or other elements. The component can then be dropped multiple times and have its own variable references. The second is table support. Pulling from variables, it would allow for the building of tables on a referenced variable (that contains array of variables.)
These are things that can be done via handlebars and HTML…

A more in-depth permissions / roles system with the API
We need a more in-depth permissions management system with the API. Right now, only the admin role can create SMTP credentials. We are not comfortable having an admin API key floating around, that if someone malicious is putting his hand on it, he could be able to delete every existing SMTP keys / users. A permissions system instead of roles could be a great idea. If it's too complicated, you can create a new role for adding SMTP credentials only. Or maybe simply add the permission to create keys, but not delete, to the developers role.

Don't generate open events for spam bot opens.
Mailjet added a feature to prevent open events if the open was done by a spam bot filter. Provide an option on a domain basis to disable open events due to spam bots.

Restore ability to embed variables in URLs in Visual Template Editor
When editing email templates via the visual builder, when setting the address for a web link it is no longer possible to use recipient variables as part of the URL. E.g on entering "https://%recipient.baseUrl%/docs/" as the address, the interface validation treats the URL as invalid and the "Apply" button is disabled (see screenshot).
At present the entire URL can be wrapped in
%symbols, but it's no longer possible to have%symbols within the URL. I'm not sure why this feature was removed, perhaps it was a mistake in an update to the regex checking?It's very useful to…

Allow free user to be added so they can upgrade the account
I created a free account, set everything up, and now I need to invite our manager to upgrade the account but there is not a way for me to add them as a user until I upgrade the account... this makes it difficult to purchase / upgrade.

Delete Tags in Bulk
Presently, via the UI, users are only able to delete tags 20 at a time. Currently, lacks the ability to delete all tags at once.
