Allow setting the open, click, and unsubscribe settings when creating a domain
Currently when creating a new domain via the API, we have to set the open, click, and unsubscribe tracking settings via individual PUTs. Instead, we should be able to create and configure a domain in a single call - that way we don't have to worry about a domain being partially setup.

SMTP Last Authenticated
It would be really helpful for security auditing, if on the SMTP credentials page, it could show the last time that credential was used.

V6 Support in 2026
The lack of IPv6 delivery is causing real-world harm to downstream customers by preventing legitimate email from reaching your services.
IPv4 should increasingly be treated as a legacy access mechanism. Address space is limited, difficult to obtain in some environments, and particularly challenging for organizations and networks that are deploying IPv6-first infrastructure.
This is especially relevant for email delivery. Many cloud providers do not permit customers to use shared provider address space for outbound mail relay, largely because of the abuse and reputation challenges associated with cloud-hosted IP addresses. As an email service provider, I am sure you are familiar…

Need readiness or liveness probe to determine service health
Hi Team,
I am currently setting up monitoring and alerting systems for our integration with Mailgun. To ensure high availability and proactively detect any potential outages, we would like to implement automated health checks.
Does Mailgun provide official, authenticated or unauthenticated readiness or liveness endpoints that we can safely ping at regular intervals to verify system status?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Thanks

Enable / disable autosave autosave in Mailgun templates
There is a autosave feature in Maligun Templates when using the editor with templates. Customers would like to have more control over this and have a feature when we can disable autosave and manage version control better.

The ability to change the timezone shown in the logs
Our business is based in the UK and logs are in US timezone. A lot of our emails are triggered from make.com and the logs for that are in UK time. It is a pain to try to match up times in different timezones.

Global / Local Parameters Stored Centrally in Mailgun

Reusable Components / Shared Template Sections
Description: Create a footer, header, copyright section, sign-off, etc. once and reuse it across multiple templates. When the component is updated, all templates should automatically inherit the change. This will allow us to create components (or building blocks) that would need to be maintained only once but reuse in multiple templates.

Using your own created templates as a template itself in the builder
Expand the ability to copy templates into completely new templates to also make templates show up in the template builder as base version like the currently built in templates

Copy pasting of Template parts or creating your own elements
Regarding Templates.
It would be nice if you could create your own elements which you could reuse and copy into different new templates.
As an example footers with the contact details of your company which you would put on every single email. As it stands you would have to redo those elements hundreds of times if you have a lot of different templates.1 vote -
EU Region wrong log timestamps
I am on the EU region, yet my logs still are in US times... bit of an oversight and I would appreciate it if you could address this. Thanks.

Request for Mailgun to Properly Handle Multiple href-Style Attributes
Currently Mailgun rewrites the first href-like attribute it finds (such as data-cke-saved-href) instead of the actual visible href. This is causing inconsistent tracking behavior in certain HTML structures generated by editors like CKEditor.
Feature Request: Improve Mailgun link rewriting logic to properly handle anchor tags containing multiple href-related attributes.

Disabling of Region within the Mailgun account
Due to GDPR, our account must run exclusively in EU. However, I have experienced a couple of bugs in which when I log in, I sign up in US region (even though I changed my default region to EU). For this reason, we would like to have the option to disable a region to ensure all the users in our instance are logged in to the right region.

Easier on the borders in Dark Mode
The borders around elements in dark mode are far too bright and make it visually confusion. Try removing borders from things that don't need it, like the content boxes. Then lighten the borders on other interface elements like the header and sidebar. See attached screenshot. Much easier on the eyes, right?

Webhook URL provisioning based on filter expressions (e.g. tags)
Currently limited webhooks can be created at the account or domain level and can only be limited to unique urls per event types.
It would be very useful if different webhook urls can be configured based on additional filter expressions like tags or some other parameter. The Analytics Logs API allows filtering on several parameters and for customers moving away from that to using webhooks this feature would add value.

GCP Marketplace Onboarding Experience
Upon subscribing to a Mailgun plan via the GCP Marketplace, we were not provided with clear instructions on how to complete the onboarding process on the Mailgun platform. Guidance on the next steps following subscription activation would greatly improve the customer experience.
** Support Accessibility:
Although our subscription includes phone-based support, we have been unable to access this benefit. Currently, our only option is to submit support cases online, which appears to follow the same process as free-tier users without a defined response SLA. This has made it challenging to get timely assistance with our requests.** Suggestion:

Specific error message when trying to send emails despite having an expired payment method
I just spent the last week or so trying to solve an issue where Mailgun was preventing me from sending emails and throwing this error message: "Mailgun Error 420: Domain [my domain] is not allowed to send: recipient limit exceeded." It turned out my payment method had expired, and even though I hadn't actually exceeded my recipient limit, the platform was blocking me. Please update the error message for better understanding.

Restore ability to embed variables in URLs in Visual Template Editor
When editing email templates via the visual builder, when setting the address for a web link it is no longer possible to use recipient variables as part of the URL. E.g on entering "https://%recipient.baseUrl%/docs/" as the address, the interface validation treats the URL as invalid and the "Apply" button is disabled (see screenshot).
At present the entire URL can be wrapped in
%symbols, but it's no longer possible to have%symbols within the URL. I'm not sure why this feature was removed, perhaps it was a mistake in an update to the regex checking? It's very useful to…
