Throttle mailing list sending for Comcast and other ESPs
hey Mailgun,
We have been told by Comcast to throttle our sending to Comcast addresses. They want us to send in batches.
Here's the thing: we are using your mailing lists feature! YOU, not US, are in control of how quickly those emails go out. Can you please dial in throttling/batch sending for mailing lists for Comcast and any other ESPs that require it? Our understanding is that this is a general Comcast policy and not specific to us.

Currently our routes only support filtering for the message header, and not the body. Being able to filter by specific body content would be helpful.

Custom Variables in visual builder
Feature request:
Add the custom variables in the visual template editor in the coding examples, like in the old HTML editor.
It is very hard to keep track of inserted variables now, as you have to visually scan for {{variable}} in the editor.The current visual editor only shows:

Allow link tracking on URLs longer than 1000 characters
Please add support for click tracking on URLs longer than 1000 characters. As far as I can see this limitation on link-rewriting is not documented. Our SSO solution generates links in the 1000 - 1300 char range that contain a base64 encoded JWT. All browsers support at least 2048 characters so it would be obvious to allow as least as many characters for the rewrites.

Implement mobile version of UI
Please make your web page more mobile friendly. It's impossible to navigate currently. Really small changes would go a long way if you can't commit to a fully mobile integration. The functionality of your product is great, but attention to these kinds of details on the frontend needs improvement.

Allow other per-domain API calls for domain sending keys
Allow other domain-based operations such as retrieving events for domain sending keys. It's nice to be able to have sandboxed API keys per domain for sending but it would be more powerful if it also allowed doing things like querying events for that domain, that way you could have one account with development/QA/production domains each with their own keys restricted to those domains.

Permissions management for API Keys
Your Sending API Keys limits to just the sending portion of the available API. Can you expand this to include the Bounce API?
We use a Wordpress newsletter plugin called Mailster and as it needs access to the Bounce API it requires the account level Private API Key which is excessive for the use case.
Could you either expand the Sending API key to include the Bounce API or more elegantly allow users to manually configure what permissions to give an API key for their specific use case.

Grant SAML SSO Availability to All Plans
SAML SSO Support should be available as an offering independent of plan level. By locking it behind the minimum plan requirement of Scale or higher, customers are forced to pay extra fees for features they may not require simply just to access the one they need (SAML SSO).
While it is understandable that such integration is not trivial for everyone, locking it behind higher tier plans that most people do not need effectively paywalls it unnecessarily. Most SaaS platforms offer this feature for free regardless of the plan or charge a reasonably nominal fee to tack it onto the account…

Subaccount - Default IP-Pool
On the subaccount page, when you edit a subaccount, I should be able to choose which Static IP/IP-pool to be default for that subaccount if IP is set to "Shared IP" in the subaccounts settings.

Ideas for improving Api / Quicklook / overall experience
Hi, I have a few ideas for improvement. For batch sending emails via API, please add a safe mode, where the request is rejected, if not every recipient address has a matching entry in recipient-variables. I just happened to send out a bunch of emails that would only show the %recipient.name% placeholder, because of an unintended whitespace in the "name " field of the recipient-variables. This is a very sad experience and could easily be prevent with better tooling.

Email Admins when new SMTP or API credentials are created
This is a fraud prevention action. We had multiple SMTP credentials created then fraudulently used. If we got emails whenever they are created we would know they weren't done by us true admins.
