Make logs properly searchable. We used to be able to put a single email address in the logs search box, and see log entries confined to email sent to that address specifically. However, this no longer works, it looks like the search queries everything that contains the address (e.g. message body and the like)10 votes
This bug has been fixed!
Hey, found an issue under the Supressions tab. Unable to select a domain under Supressions unlike the old UI.
Had to move to the older UI to delete supressions.
Otherwise pretty slick3 votes
Thanks for the feedback here. We’ve since squashed this bug!
Please send invoices via email as a PDF, whay should we the client have to logon and then download it?45 votes
Thanks so much for your patience here! We’ve completed our migration to a new billing system and we are now sending out invoice emails that include the invoice attached as a PDF. If this isn’t the case for you, please reach out to me directly and we’ll sort it out.
In the Mailgun portal, you also now have the ability to add a secondary billing contact to receive the monthly invoices.
Where clearing out the bounces list, there isn't a way to select all (there was).2 votes
Thanks for the feedback here. We’ve since added the ability to select multiple/all addresses on a page to remove them in bulk from the list.
remember domain after reloading2 votes
Thanks so much for providing this feedback. I believe we have fixed this bug. If you’re continuing to see this issue, please let us know!
I'm only using the EU region for my domains. But it always opens up the US region.
It would be great to have a setting where you can choose which region it should open by default.17 votes
I’m happy to announce that we’ve released our new Control Panel, which combines EU and US assets under one unified view!
I work in the suppressions area of mailgun as part of my job. With this new format it takes a very long time to delete one email address and then wait for the page to reload. I liked it a lot better when I could mark multiple emails and delete them in batches. The reload time was not as long either.1 vote
Thanks for the feedback here and I completely agree. We’ve since added the ability to select multiple/all suppression on a page to remove them in bulk from the list.
domain picker on suppressions page is missing1 vote
Thanks for the feedback here, this bug has been squashed!
when adding webhooks for different event type, the first that reaches 3 hooks prevents the others from receiving new values even though they only have 2 values. This limitation should only apply per event type and not globally.1 vote
Thank you very much for the feedback here. We’ve since fixed this bug and you are now able to add up to 3 URLs for each webhook type.
the new interface loses track of the domain you are working with. It often takes several attempts to get to the page you are looking for with the correct domain, usually it jumps back to the first in the list1 vote
Thank you so much for the feedback here. I believe we have since fixed this bug, however, if you continue to see this issue, please let us know!
In the Logs section, the bar graph shows blue for accepted and green for delivered. This color scheme is not honored in the text version of the logs, however.
In the text body of the log, "Delivered" entries should stay green, but "Accepted" entries should be blue to match the corresponding color of the bar graph. This would allow me to more easily scan the logs for the proper information.10 votes
Very sorry, this was an inadvertent change with a recent release. This bug has been fixed.
Amazing what a missing semicolon will do, eh? ;)
Serve status.mailgun.com over https instead of only http.1 vote
Thank you for the feedback! HTTPS has been enabled at status.mailgun.com
Mailgun currently has the ability to add additional admin users to an account. It would be really useful to also allow the addition of users with a more limited role, for example only being able to view the logs.14 votes
Mailgun now offers role-based access control.
Chat support used to be available on the mailgun site. It was very useful and made mailgun outstanding. Please bring it back.19 votes
Chat support is now available with our new Scale plans (or higher).
It would be beneficial to be able to push a button in the control panel that would allow the export of data into a csv file.
Also, for the Suppressions tab we would like for you to provide the total amount of recipients on the list.
And we would like for you to allow the option to select all recipients on the Suppressions list and delete all of them, instead of deleting one by one.99 votes
We have recently deployed enhancements to our dashboard that allows for exports from the suppression & mailing lists.
Searching the log when only time of event is known is very clumsy because the log cannot be filtered with time. Going through pages works with small amounts of log but as there is lots of log then it gets really time taking process. Even worse if you have to repeat the process later on.
Add options to filter the log by begin and end time.19 votes
This week, we released several improvements to our logs feature. You can now select a date/time range and adjust the order (ascending/descening) of the results.
More improvements are launching for this page over the next few weeks, let me know what else you think we can do on this page to make it more useful for you.
It would be great if there's an option/button to resend each email manually directly from the log list.
This could be very handy for companies using Mailgun to send emails on behalf of its customers. For example,
if an email sent from a customer is rejected due to X reasons, the ability to resend it without bothering the sender would be very nice.33 votes
Today, we released enhancements to the logs view and you can now resend messages. You can use the cog drop down to select “resend message” and supply the desired recipient. Messages can be resent up to 72 hours after being received by Mailgun.
Let me know if you have any feedback/questions!
Simple white list to keep addresses from ending up in the bounce list.
Thanks so much for your patience!
I’m happy to announce that we’ve released the ability to add addresses/domains to a bounce suppression whitelist. If an address/domain is on the whitelist, it will not be added to the bounce suppressions list if the address bounces. Keep in mind that we will still suppress unsubscribes and complaints. Also keep in mind that if the address is already on the bounce suppressions list before adding the address to the whitelist, you will need to remove it in order to send to the address.
API docs are available here: https://documentation.mailgun.com/en/latest/api-suppressions.html#whitelists
Whitelists are also available via our Beta control panel. If you’re not currently in our Beta and would like access, please feel free to email me directly, otherwise, we expect to launch our new control panel to the public within the next month.
The DELETE /domains endpoint is not documented, and it removes all domains from your account. My suggestion is to remove it from the API. The action of removing all domains from an account is really rare, and can easily be solved with multiple calls to remove each domain separately.2 votes
Thanks for the feedback here. That call was inadvertently public. We’ve since removed that call from the public API.
Create HTML (and text) templates within Mailgun. When sending an email using API/SMTP, reference the template instead of sending the message body every time, and include replacement variables.
This would allow us to manage email templates from within Mailgun, instead of in the code base. Similarly, allow us to combine different stylesheets with these templates so we can make a single CSS change, and apply it to all email templates (instead of editing every email template).1 vote
Thanks for your patience here! We’ve released the ability to add and edit templates on the Mailgun platform using the API or control panel. Feel free to take a look at our documentation here: https://documentation.mailgun.com/en/latest/api-templates.html. This release doesn’t include support for global style sheets, but perhaps that’s something we can accomplish for v2.
