Subaccount - Default IP-Pool
On the subaccount page, when you edit a subaccount, I should be able to choose which Static IP/IP-pool to be default for that subaccount if IP is set to "Shared IP" in the subaccounts settings.

Hello. We have released an update that allows users to programmatically create API keys via a Keys API endpoint. Admin user is the only role to have Write capability for API key management via API. We have also made public our Credentials API and IP Whitelist API. For information on public API endpoints and access levels per role, please visit https://documentation.mailgun.com/docs/mailgun/user-manual/mg_security/#rbac-api-key-permissions-based-on-role.

Specific error message when creating too many routes
Add a more specific error message when you create too many routes for your current plan (i.e. flex plan maximum is maximum of 5 routes). Otherwise, you are using trial-and-error for many hours to find the issue (because the current error message is: Couldn't create the route)

reporting dashboard - filter by IP Pool
In the reporting dashboard would like the ability to filter by IP Pool.
We have completed the project of moving over hundreds of domains using our shared IP option into 2 IP pools (CUSTOM DOMAIN SHARED POOL A and CUSTOM DOMAIN SHARED POOL B) we are really keen to monitor these pools and their health.
Is there any way to see the metrics (delivered, opens, etc) for an IP pool? We want to monitor the health of these pools and see if there's improvement since we've moved everyone in there over time.

SMTP Password copy UI behind chat button (bad!)
The floating chat/help button is on top of the "Copy" button in the toast. Perhaps it's better to use a modal dialog UI when resetting a password (and providing new password) instead of a notification style UI in the corner.
4 votesThank you for the feedback here. We've applied a z-index so that the chat bot is behind the toast notifications.

Add Current DNS Records back to Mailgun Control Panel
At one time a domain's current DNS records were visible in our control panel, however this no longer is displayed. Customers may still want to view these records in the Mailgun control panel, and not need to resort to get these values via API or DNS lookup.

Our new free plan allows for addition of custom sending domains so an 'add domain' button is now presented in the UI.

Allow More Currency Options Aside from USD
Currently Mailgun only supports USD as a currency, and some customers would prefer to use a different currency

fix the Alias Search
When performing an "Alias Search" from the Mailing lists list, the validation you're doing in the text box forces me to type really slowly, and even then there are input errors, like missed characters or duplicated characters. Please change the debounce value for your validation to only perform validation after I've legitimately paused my input.

Copy error on Domain settings page
The copy on the "Inbound spam filter" modal on https://app.mailgun.com/app/sending/domains/mydomain.com/settings is clearly copy-pasted by accident and makes no sense in that modal.
It originally comes from the "Wildcard domain" modal, where it clearly belongs.
But this has nothing to do with spam filtering and is clearly an accident.

Easier way to remove unsubscribe suppressions
Please remove the "ten at a time" limit on viewing Unsubscribes, or add a "Remove All" button like the Bounces page has. It takes three clicks, on widely separate areas of the page, too remove a page of Unsubscribes, and now that the limit is ten it takes a long, long time if I let them add up.
I handle unsubscriptions in my application, so I need to clear up the list periodically in MailGun so if they re-subscribe through my application they can immediately begin receiving mail again.
Thank you!
2 votesThanks again for the feedback here. we've added a "Remove all" option for both Unsubscribe and Complaints.

RESTORE the old Resend functionality of auto-populating the address
When I click the cog to RESEND a bounced email, it USED TO fill in the bounced email address so that I could just click OK or make a quick edit to it, but now it comes up EMPTY so I have to retype the address from scratch. Can you please restore the previous functionality?
3 votesThank you for your patience on this. We have reverted to the expected behavior for the resend function. The original recipient address will now pre-populate in the field.

Bad spelling in UI; easy fix
There's a typo/misspelling on this page (see attached). It says "IP's" (with an apostrophe), but it should say "IPs" (lowercase s, no apostrophe). I hope this helps! https://www.buymeacoffee.com/shipit

Permissions management for API Keys
Your Sending API Keys limits to just the sending portion of the available API. Can you expand this to include the Bounce API?
We use a Wordpress newsletter plugin called Mailster and as it needs access to the Bounce API it requires the account level Private API Key which is excessive for the use case.
Could you either expand the Sending API key to include the Bounce API or more elegantly allow users to manually configure what permissions to give an API key for their specific use case.
10 votesHello,
Thank you for your previous feedback. We released Role-based Access Control for API Keys. This will allow an admin user to create API keys using pre-defined roles which manage what level of access that API key has. Roles to choose from will be Analyst (Basic), Support, Developer, and Admin. Please let us know if you have any questions. We will mark this idea thread as complete.

Fix bug in 2FA info on account-info page
Hi,
I just noticed that in the 'account security' page of an account it always state 'Two factor auth' as "[!!] Disabled", also for accounts that do have 2FA enabled (and you can see the green 2FA icon in the overview, so there it is ok, it is just in the account-details page)1 vote -
