Customizable SPF Value for Domain Verification
Hi Mailgun team,
I'd like to request a feature that allows users to customize or override the SPF record value required for domain verification.
In our case, we're running into the 10-DNS-lookup limit imposed by SPF, and the default include:mailgun.org already consumes multiple lookups. To maintain compliance and avoid delivery issues, we want to flatten and self-host the Mailgun SPF entries (e.g., using a subdomain like spf.ourdomain.com) and reference that instead.
Currently, domain verification fails unless the exact include:mailgun.org is present, which prevents this workaround.

Incorrect documentation of SMTP ports

Set "too old" expiry period on send
Our customers often send alerts that are very timely in nature, so if they aren't sent in some period of time they don't want them sent at all. Often that period of time is much shorter than the current default 8 hours.
It would be helpful for us to be able to set the send window for an email in the send api to prevent overly stale sends from going out.

Cloudflare DNS Auto-Connect
I would like to request a feature that allows seamless integration between Mailgun and Cloudflare for DNS configuration. Similar to how Google Workspace provides a one-click setup process for adding necessary DNS records via Cloudflare, this feature would streamline the onboarding process and enhance the user experience.
Currently, setting up Mailgun requires manually adding DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, etc.) to the domain's DNS provider, which can be time-consuming and error-prone, especially for users less familiar with DNS management. Template Editor access at lower-level role than Developer
We have numerous users who design email templates. We need to give them access to the DnD template editor and the HTML template editor. Currently the only way to do this is to assign them to the developer (or admin) role. The developer/admin roles contain way too much privilege for these users.
I would like the Support role to have access to create/modify templates, or for a new role like "Designer" to be implemented. Then I could grant users access to create and modify templates without giving them unnecessary and risky privileges.

Set Default Domain For Logs In UI.
Customer would like to set a default domain for their logs.
2 votesThe new Logs experience now found under Reporting has been de-scoped from sending domain. You can still use filters to focus on a specific sending domain if needed.

Restore old search functionality
Bring back the old search functionality. I could previously search for email address, subject, keywords, really anything and it would search my logs. We have somehow gone backwards significantly, and now the only 'search' is recipient email address, and all other searches need to be done via filters that do not work. It used to be very easy to search the logs for what I needed, but now I feel I cannot find anything and it has rendered logs almost useless to me.

Refresh button on log searching
When searching the Logs, it would be nice if there were a refresh button, so I don't have to continually refresh the entire page to get newer results.

Edit template subject in UI
I can only set the subject once upon creation, and then I cannot edit it? This seems like an obvious problem

Default region upon login
It would be great if we could set the default region for the app. Instead I am always logged in into US and then have to switch to EU because all my sites are there.
34 votesWe have added a default region item to account settings within the UI. Users will load into their region of choice upon login. This setting is per user, there is no account level setting. Please note that the default for this setting is US. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

Bring back event search
The sending log is no longer working well, as it did before. I cannot filter the log by event type, to quickly see which have permanently failed, for example. Please fix this back to the original feature.

Log search improvments
Previous search filter UI/UX on logs was better than actual implementation. Please open a panel with all filters in one page not have to click many times to apply an event filter.

Mailgun Account Name
Mailgun Account Name field does not allow the use of space key when typing in real time. You must type the business name all together then click to add the space.
example, first type: MyBusinessAcccount
then do NOT save
next, click to add spaces: My Business Account

Unable to update template reply to when using visual builder.
When using drag and drop option for templates, after you set the reply to you are unable to make any changes to the reply to after the template is created. Even if you create a new version the reply to information stays the same.

Date range for Google Postmaster Tools
The integration w G Postmaster Tools is nice to have, though limited in usefulness by viewing a single day at a time. If I log into Postmaster Tools itself there are graphs showing historical values for months, which is much more revealing of things that happen once in a while.
Offering a date-range feature with graphs and warnings would be helpful. Thanks for considering.

Sort domains list by default
The domains list should be sorted in some meaningful way. At least sort it by domain name alphabetical. Or even better give us the option to sort by other columns like delivered or accepted
