Manage multiple accounts with the same email
There is a way to create multiple logins for the same Mailgun account but we can't reuse an existing account. The error message is:
Error: Unable to invite user. User already exists
We need a way to manage multiple accounts under the same email, not having this is a total nightmare :\ We have this in Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, Mailchimp, etc ...
There is no way I will ask my clients to forward me the "passcode" everytime I need to login on my client's account.
104 votesHey y’all,
I hear you on the frustrations here. Unfortunately just about everything account related is tied back to user who created the account and their email address, which is currently a unique mapping across Mailgun, so it’ll take a bit of work to allow this functionality.
Until we’re able get this implemented, the workaround I use is plus addressing. For example, cfarmer+account1@mailgun.com and cfarmer+account2@mailgun.com allows me to essentially create multiple accounts using the same email (activation and notification emails will be delivered to cfarmer@mailgun.com). The majority of the major Mailbox Providers (Gmail and MSFT included) support this.

Add record and page counts to sending logs
For Sending > Logs please add record count and page count for the logs. These counts should be updated based on any search and filters applied. It is very difficult to research how many emails were sent when filtering or searching. Also, export would be an added bonus!

Show IP's that called the API
In the "API Security" you show the Whitelist IP section, you should show a list of IP's that have called our API it would make it easier to see which of our servers are sending it now so that we can easily white list.

Add a setting to the MailGun user interface to allow users to add a Header globally
Feature Suggestion: Add a setting to the MailGun user interface to allow users to add a Header globally. That way, the header can be automatically added even when using SMTP. This has a number of use cases, including changing the bounce email address ("h:x-mailgun-native-send": "true") to eliminate some Sender Verification fails.

Set default fields when viewing logs
Hi there! I'm very glad to see the status added back to the logs page—that's super helpful! I do wish there were a way to save the settings from the "manage fields" dropdown. For example, I almost never need to see the sender (assuming that it's almost always us whose sending it) but the subject line is important. It would be radical to not have to reconfigure the view every time I come to logs. Or is there some way to set those defaults that I'm missing?

Add a "Bulk Resend" function under LOGS
Hi MG,
We've resent 200++ worth of emails Manually through logs.
It would be good if you could add a BULK RESEND Function or a TICK ALL Function under Sending > LOGS so that we can resend failed / rejected emails in one go or in bulk.Having to manually resend each email is counterintuitive.

More than 4 Active Fields in "Log's" table
You should allow more than 4 active fields in the "logs" table, every time I reload the page I have to set my active tags again, as checking the subject and tags is critical for us

Fix quick view for templates
Log Quick View for messages using templates doesn't work. It currently shows just the template name, and doesn't render it.

Webhook for all events (add `accepted`, `rejected`)
"accepted" "rejected" events are not available in webhooks. Adding them to webhooks would help our system track all emails not just "delivered" or "bounced" in the same way as all the other events.
"delivered" or "failed" events already fires for every email so adding "accepted" wouldn't increase the system load that much but would greatly help systems that need it.

Add subject line back to sending logs
Please add the subject line back to the sending logs page, it is incredibly difficult to identify a particular email without being able to see the subject line easily.

Preview templates with content via API
I want to provide a user with a preview of what an email to their team will look like. I need an API endpoint to which I can send the template name and content, just like I would for sending a message, but instead of sending, it would just return the HTML that I can then display to the user.

Allow for setting a custom SMTP password
The new control panel doesn't allow for the ability to set a password, which means if the password is accidentally reset, we can't go back and edit it and we might have a number of applications using the previous password.

Alerts if email delivery metrics fall out of expected ranges
It would be great if there was an alert system that allowed us to send an email to someone on our team if the number of email sends for a particular domain were lower or higher than a certain range. You could also extend this to bounce rates, suppressed, etc. We have had a few issues with sending that went undetected and it would have been great to be alerted this way.

Make suppression columns sortable
It would be extremely useful to be able to sort unsubscribes and complains by date in Dashboard -> Suppressions, rather than by recipient. Even better, make all three columns (recipient, timestamp, tags) sortable. Preferably also allow the user to choose a default sorting.

unmaintained nodejs sdk
I'm evaluating mailgun for use from nodejs and it looks like you guys just don't care about your nodejs sdk. The npm package you reference in your official documentation (mailgun-js) points to a 3rd party outdated package that hasn't been updated in a year and has security advisories against https dependencies that its using. Why aren't you guys maintaining a proper nodejs sdk in house? This is leading me to find a different mail provider like sendgrid
