  2. Add settings for "Not delivering to previously bounced address" error

A few days ago one of our users got into suppression list because Google (for some unknown reason) hard bounced his CORRECT email. We have doublechecked it and it works alright. Each time Mailgun received hard bounce, it adds the bounced email into suppression list. But sometimes innocent users are getting there too.

So, please add a feature/setting "Hard bounce attempts required to move email into the suppression list", with increasing cooldown, starting from 600 seconds, or something similar. So if it's a wrong email, it will be hardbounced three times and suppressed; it is a result of some bug…

  3. Allow Mailgun account email to send emails to mailing lists from Outlook

Allow Mailgun account email to send emails to mailing lists from Outlook without having to change the outgoing servers. This would be a step between needing to be authenticated (Read Only) and Allowing people in the mailing lists to post things.

This way the owner of the mailgun account can send emails from Outlook to their mailing lists, but no one else would be able to do this.

  4. Expose the "in reply to" node in your Zapier integration.

The Zapier integration desperately needs the "in reply to" node exposed for logic such as ticketing systems.

  5. allow for a "catch all" webhook

if I have a general webhook script that can handle all types of messages, it would be very convenient if I could set all your webhook messages to go to the same url without having to edit every one separately. Also, it would be great if there could be a single webhook url set for ALL domains as well if needed. So, a single webhook url could be set across all domains and all webhook types.

  6. New Mailing List Access Level List of Permitted Senders

Change the access level of a mailing list not only to be limited to "members", "everyone", and "read-only" to also include an option for allowing a list of addresses for a particular list or domain. Updating the list of permitted Addresses should have a similar API access as editing mailing lists. This allows specific people to send to lists they are not on, but also restricts unwanted senders.

  8. Support wildcard suppression of email addresses

    Hello,

I need to suppress emails that are sent to my automation users.

    qa_automation+df1qb6fn293okcevaucv@zzz.com

Basically, anything that is sent to qa_automation+xxxxx@zzz.com, I would like to suppress. Please consider this as an enhancement.

    Thanks

  9. Re-send and View rejected mail

Recently because of insufficient balance in credit card, mail gun rejected many transaction mails in my account, and this effected our business badly.

So i request for two features:

    1. Re-send rejected mails (please add code in your docs)

    2. View rejected mail content

    http://blog.mailgun.com/how-to-view-your-messages/

It seems currently you store only delivered mail content in your servers, Please add this feature in rejected mail.
So that we can copy the html and send it again.

    Thank you.

  10. Allow rotation of DKIM keys

I would like the ability to rotate the DKIM key used by mailgun for my domain on a periodic basis. The only option I was given by mailgun support is to delete my domain and start over. Rotating the key is important to mitigate the effects when keys are compromised.

  11. Inbound sending mail server IP address attribute

As part of the inbound mail parse output to have a field that includes the IP address of the sending email server - what is used as part of the TCP handshake. I realize that mailgun may add this as a header in the mime parse, but would be great to have this already extracted as part of the output. This could be used for additional security and spam checks by the developer. Thank you.

  12. Set up email addresses for simulating various outcomes

It would be really useful if I could simulate certain delivery outcomes in mailgun by using some special/reserved email addresses you've implemented.

For example, I'd like to be able to specify something like "bounce@test.mailgun.com" as a recipient, and have mailgun instantly treat the message as a bounce and notify my webhook.

Some of your competitors provide this functionality to their customers, e.g. http://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/mailbox-simulator.html

  14. Include List-Unsubscribe headers in DKIM and DomainKey signatures

I'm sending mails through mailgun.com via STMP and I add "List-Unsubscribe" headers to my emails prviding unsubscribe-email and -url (where appropriate).

As these headers (email and url List-Unsubscribe) are not included in the DKIM or DomainKey signatures, they are ignored by some mail services ...e.g. Gmail. :-(

Please include the provided List-Unsubscribe (and possibly other already existing) headers in the DKIM- and DomainKey signatues or provide an option to define which headers should be included. => X-Mailgun-Include-In-Signature header

    Thanx!

  15. API: possibility to filter events based on our user-variables values

Currently, in the API, there is no way to filter the Events via our user-variables. They get return in the result but still they aren't available on the Filter Field list described on the documentation.

It could be really cool to be able to do so!

  16. Support iOS 9 universal links

Universal links in iOS 9 make it possible for our links to open directly in our app. Unfortunately redirects break this behavior, so Mailgun's click tracking breaks our universal links.

A simple workaround would be to allow us to set an arbitrary CNAME. I could then point that CNAME at a CloudFront distribution. That way we could serve an apple-app-site-association file and redirect all other requests to mailgun.

We could then intercept the click tracking links in the app, and fetch the click tracking link to record the click and get the redirect target.

  17. User variables fallback / default values

When using user variables, e.g. %recipient.name%, it would be useful to implement a fallback value for when that variable is not present. For example:

    Hello %recipient.name|Customer%

So, for the above the output would be either:

    Hello Jane

or, where the name is not set for the user

    Hello Customer

  19. Stats for multiple domains

We run a lot of domains (for inbound forwarding) and want to gather daily stats. The only way to do this is to make multiple API calls , 900+ each time. Can we get stats for multiple/all domains at once?

  20. Disable Tracking for Route-forwarded messages (override Domain default)

Handling inbound emails via Routes on Mailgun and forwarding them to another mailbox has the undesired effect of modifying third-party messages.

    This has serious consequences:
    * It breaks DKIM signature from third-party
    * It tracks messages that are Inbound and tracking is in general undesired

Please at least make it configurable to disable Tracking on per-Route basis when it's enabled on the Domain.

    Current workaround:
Disable Tracking for domain and enable it explicitly per-message via API/SMTP header.
