  1. Default region upon login

    It would be great if we could set the default region for the app. Instead I am always logged in into US and then have to switch to EU because all my sites are there.

    We have added a default region item to account settings within the UI. Users will load into their region of choice upon login. This setting is per user, there is no account level setting. Please note that the default for this setting is US. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

  4. Set "too old" expiry period on send

    Our customers often send alerts that are very timely in nature, so if they aren't sent in some period of time they don't want them sent at all. Often that period of time is much shorter than the current default 8 hours.

    It would be helpful for us to be able to set the send window for an email in the send api to prevent overly stale sends from going out.

  5. Template Editor access at lower-level role than Developer

    We have numerous users who design email templates. We need to give them access to the DnD template editor and the HTML template editor. Currently the only way to do this is to assign them to the developer (or admin) role. The developer/admin roles contain way too much privilege for these users.

    I would like the Support role to have access to create/modify templates, or for a new role like "Designer" to be implemented. Then I could grant users access to create and modify templates without giving them unnecessary and risky privileges.

  6. Log search improvments

    Previous search filter UI/UX on logs was better than actual implementation. Please open a panel with all filters in one page not have to click many times to apply an event filter.

  8. Bring back event search

    The sending log is no longer working well, as it did before. I cannot filter the log by event type, to quickly see which have permanently failed, for example. Please fix this back to the original feature.

    When searching the Logs, it would be nice if there were a refresh button, so I don't have to continually refresh the entire page to get newer results.

  10. Subaccount - Default IP-Pool

    On the subaccount page, when you edit a subaccount, I should be able to choose which Static IP/IP-pool to be default for that subaccount if IP is set to "Shared IP" in the subaccounts settings.

    User can now rename domain scoped templates and the newly released account scoped templates. Please note that changing the template name may require an update on your side to ensure the correct template is being referenced in your API call to send email. Additionally we now surface a new template ID that can be used in place of template name which will remain unchanged.

  12. Unable to update template reply to when using visual builder.

    When using drag and drop option for templates, after you set the reply to you are unable to make any changes to the reply to after the template is created. Even if you create a new version the reply to information stays the same.

  13. Option to Duplicate Template in MG Drag and Drop Template Builder

    Currently our DnD template builder has a duplicate option, but this only applies to the template version. Some users would prefer the option to make a duplicate which is a completely new template, and not just a new version within the same template

    Wanted to clarify that the API supports up to 40 versions of a template. With that said there are currently no plans to increase the number of templates beyond 100 and up to 40 version of each. We recently made a number of enhancements to the templates API including the introduction of account scoped templates for more flexible sending across all of your sending domains.

  15. Specific error message when creating too many routes

    Add a more specific error message when you create too many routes for your current plan (i.e. flex plan maximum is maximum of 5 routes). Otherwise, you are using trial-and-error for many hours to find the issue (because the current error message is: Couldn't create the route)

  16. reporting dashboard - filter by IP Pool

    In the reporting dashboard would like the ability to filter by IP Pool.

    We have completed the project of moving over hundreds of domains using our shared IP option into 2 IP pools (CUSTOM DOMAIN SHARED POOL A and CUSTOM DOMAIN SHARED POOL B) we are really keen to monitor these pools and their health.

    Is there any way to see the metrics (delivered, opens, etc) for an IP pool? We want to monitor the health of these pools and see if there's improvement since we've moved everyone in there over time.

  18. Logs improvement

    The Logs interface is really clunky. The filters are not very intuitive and the search function is not very good. Also, the logs only show a few particular examples rather than a comprehensive list. There's no way to know many failures from a certain domain, for example. It doesn't display pages or anything.

    We released the new Mailgun Send Logs experience. This builds on the previous release of the Metrics functionality, wrapping up our complete overhaul of the Mailgun Send Reporting experience.

    What’s New?

    • Logs are now tied directly to the metrics page of the reporting dashboard - this means users can now click through data in their reports to see event-level details in Logs.
    • Users can now export data from Logs to save or share
    • Logs are no longer tied to one domain, users can now select no domain, one domain, or multiple domains. As well as more filtering including user variables, delivery status messages, and much more.

    We thank you for your previous feedback and hope these changes give you a better user experience.

    The filter for searching routes dynamically updates with EVERY KEYPRESS. Instead of updating the list of routes it's also updating the filter itself so you after every key you lose focus on the text input and have to reclick then retype one character

  20. Add Current DNS Records back to Mailgun Control Panel

    At one time a domain's current DNS records were visible in our control panel, however this no longer is displayed. Customers may still want to view these records in the Mailgun control panel, and not need to resort to get these values via API or DNS lookup.
