Allow customers to pay via PayPal.64 votes
With the introduction of the the Flex plan and the elimination of the free plan the "Inbound Routing" feature is no longer available for the entry level plan.
This broke a major use case for Mailgun as routes are an essential feature even for low mail volume accounts.
$35 to acquire mail routing is just infeasible when you only use 200 e-mails per month.
Mailgun needs to somehow allow Flex plan users to either have a pay-per-use for routing or make it available outright. Otherwise you are saying you do not really need these low volume customers.50 votes
There is currently not any support for credit card payments that have an extra factor of authentication (specifically VISA 3D Secure Authentication, in this case).
Stripe provides documentation on how to add this support within their integration: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/3d-secure23 votes
Currently, mailgun only provides an overview on purchased items and its price. However, this does not meet requirements for financial authorities, for instance in Austria. A proper invoice must contain:
- name and address of mailgun
- VAT of mailgun
- name and address of customer
- VAT of customer (if total exceeds a limit)
- explicitly account tax, or hint for reverse charge
- sequential number of invoice16 votes
Thanks for your patience here! Since moving to a new billing system at the beginning of this year, I think we’re well on our way to meet the majority of the listed requirements. Our invoices now include:
• Full name and address of the supplier and customer (as long as customer address is specified in your account under account details – Billing Address)
• VAT number of the customer (as long as this is specified in your account under account details – VAT number)
• A unique, sequential number
I’ll need to work with the team on getting the Mailgun VAT number and tax/VAT info, as well as zero VAT support.
The payment option. Please add PayPal or more currency available. With my CC if i pay $1 USD because my CC is in GBP i will pay additonal tax of 15 GBP, so don t make sense for us to pay the invoice. So, add additional currency and payments methods. Thank you.11 votes
Please provide a field for VAT number to be included into invoices.

RE: Updating Payment Method
Re: Address section
Only 'Billing address (line 1)' is available
This is weird.. it makes you feel like the form is incomplete and updating credit card wont work - which it didn't - took three attempts before my updated credit card would save.
Suggest you do a UX run through.5 votes
Add place where users can pay due invoices, have to wait for the customer support is an overkill5 votes
I received an invoice of $1 and was surprised Mailgun makes a profit out of this after all costs of administration and support. A client of mine received an invoice of $0.80.
Sure you can do better than this!
I don't mind that you turned the Free plan into a Flex subscription. But the way you do it is a heavy workload of bookkeeping and administration.
Other than that, I love the product.3 votes
I'd like to suggest a feature request..
I did not found a report that list to me the amount of emails that were send by domain. Every month I need to get that amount to charge my customers, it would be very helpful to us.
I do not have a credit card, so I would like to be able to add money to some prepaid balance on my Mailgun account. When going above the free amount of emails per month, it would take money from the prepaid balance until it is empty.
I would prefer to pay with iDeal ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDEAL ) or with PayPal.3 votes
Is there anyway to get the Mailgun invoices sent via email? This would be helpful when paying the bill.2 votes
Can I have a plan to pay for one year at a time?2 votes
My primary email is not receiving. I'd like to change it, but without confirming the one used to create the account, apparently it is impossible to change it.2 votes
I think you need a pay now option, because my card was having an issue and, after I fixed it, I was no able to quickly restablish my service2 votes
Hi is there a way to change the monthly limit to daily limit of 200 / day.
Like it was before in your previous iteration.
I ran into software glitch, and that exhausted my monthly quota. If wouldn't have been if it was daily.
I am using your service for non profit organization, but I am not really a paying customer.
But some advice would help.
Hi, how can I add another recipient to get the billing email?
We have the need to validate the requests being sent to Mailgun, so it would be really helpful to download a CSV of the email validations for the month to match with our internal numbers for billing tie out and accountability.2 votes
Somewhere it could tell you how much your costs have been this month from sending emails.
I emailed support, who confirmed this doesn't currently happen and it would be worth submitting a feature request.1 vote
Can we get total emails send by domain?
And how much is it costing, so I can charge the right amount to each specific client?1 vote
- Don't see your idea?
