Monetise small improvements
Hi there. I've been using your great free service for the last 6 months. I run a very small charity site for alumni of Save the Children. Don't worry - I'm not asking for a freebie!
It seems to me there is a large gap between your free service and your lowest cost billable service - which my charity can't afford. I wonder if you could make more money and offer customers a better service with low cost annual subscriptions for specific small features. Here's an example. The limit of 1,000 emails a day for my site is fine. The limit of 100 per hour is a hassle. I can't get wordpress to automatically activate its queue, so every newsletter I have to go and send 5 or 6 times through the day. Now, I'm not going to upgrade your product for that, but yes, I would pay you $50 a year to have my hourly limit the same as my daily limit. And I bet you there are lots of others out there who would pay you $50 to have a daily limit of 2000 not 1000 etc. We all run small wordpress sites - charities, hobbies, maybe small businesses and will probably never buy your lowest cost service. But you could make money from us and offer us a better service ....just a thought ....Pete
