Flex plan needs some way to use inbound routes feature
With the introduction of the the Flex plan and the elimination of the free plan the "Inbound Routing" feature is no longer available for the entry level plan.
This broke a major use case for Mailgun as routes are an essential feature even for low mail volume accounts.
$35 to acquire mail routing is just infeasible when you only use 200 e-mails per month.
Mailgun needs to somehow allow Flex plan users to either have a pay-per-use for routing or make it available outright. Otherwise you are saying you do not really need these low volume customers.

Hi all,
Again, thank you for the feedback here, and for your patience! We have re enabled routes (inbound email) on the Flex (Pay as you Go) plan.
There is a limit of 5 routes on the Flex plan, although this does not limit the number of messages that can be routed.

we lost the ability to update routes?
what happened?
we have existing routes, but now it says "See Upgrade Options" and we can't access to see or update the routes. -

Wish there was a cheaper plan for using routes only that was competitive with email forwarding services.

I have been using the mailgun free version for sometime and had much pleasure working with you guys.
Changing to paid subscription based on use is a fair move and I am willing to pay and totally accept that because you communicated that very well.
However, removing "routes" feature without a warning or notifying us, is a pretty bad customer service and very unprofessional move!
Now I can't edit past routes or add new ones! kind of stuck!! Very disappointed! -

Please don't remove routes from the Flex Plan! This is crucial functionality I'd happily pay 5 USD a moth for, but not 35 USD. Pleease!

I'd like to voice my displeasure with the new pricing change on Mar 1. I can totally understand removing the FREE pricing tier, but not allowing routing on the Flex plan is really undesirable. I don't need all the features of the Foundation plan - the more routes I use, the more emails I send, the more money I'll end up paying you in the flex plan... My removing the routes, I likely won't grow how many emails I send, which means less money for Mailgun.

Please consider offering a lower tier pricing option for folks that use the routes feature of mailgun but do not need the other features. For example, those who use a route to forward their domain email to a gmail account, but still have a low volume of mail and do not need the other advance features.
An alternative suggestion would be to include 1 route with the Flex plan.
