Option to Duplicate Template in MG Drag and Drop Template Builder

Currently our DnD template builder has a duplicate option, but this only applies to the template version. Some users would prefer the option to make a duplicate which is a completely new template, and not just a new version within the same template

    Dear support team -
    am I mistaken that it is NOT possible to copy an entire template within the same domain and e.g. take it as a basis for a language variation?
    That would seem rather odd... and a very basic functionality...

    Yes, or the ability to manage templates outside of a domain's scope. If we could create a template and use it across any configured domain, it would solve the problem for me.

    However, since this will likely never happen, simply having a copy feature would enable us to get the job done.

    This is such an essential feature - please, please, implement it. I use Mailjet too and there is that option, it would be great if it's exactly the same.

    I agree not having this feature is ridiculous. I tried to use the API to do it, but it's also having issue.

    I completely agree, templates are a complete mess without the ability to duplicate one

    The templates feature in Mailgun is essentially useless without the ability to duplicate templates. You will waste a lot of time, trust me.

    I suggest to others to use a library such as react-email and generate it on your end.

    Anyone find a workaround here? We may need to switch email providers because this is wasting too much of our teams time.

    Even an API workaround is good. We try copying templates using the API but it results in the copy not using the visual builder.

    I was appalled to find mailgun doesn't have this feature, almost a complete deal breaker and waste of time...

    Guess ill have to use HTML for everything.
