Retry when the DNS server is not responding
It's more a bug than a feature, but you CS referred me to here.
I ran into a problem when Mailgun doesn't route emails to my end, since "the DNS server didn't respond at that time"I really tried to understand why you just don't send the request again and try to reach the server after a few minutes?
The DNS server should always be available, so it just makes sense to send the request again and try to route the email.2 votes -
Delete or update specific single queued message
Good day
I`ve played with your service about 2 days and i love and want it :)
my goal is to build a service with which my customers can send emails at a certain time. Your feature to scheduling emails is a very useful tool. cause i can schedule the emails with one simple cron for the next hour and dont have to worry about a overhead or something.
But Now, there is no way to update or delete a single queued message if my customer do a change. For my case, a drop of the whole queue or the…

Account level webhooks template
We have multiple sending domains which are all work through our app in the same way. Therefore, the webhooks are always the same, it's only the domain that changes. e.g.
{domain}/api/mailgun/webhooks/receive/temporary_fail
It would be great to be able to configure this at an account level, so that all of our sending domains were automatically set up with webhooks, with the option to override them in case it's needed.

The ability to add unsubscribe links to emails sent to mailing lists.
When a mailing list member sends an email to the list, it would be great to have an automatic unsubscribe link added to it.

Uptime monitoring
Uptime monitoring - instead of actually monitoring individual e-mails, can we have Mailgun send out a notification of some sort if there is an issue with delivering e-mails, incuding Mailgun downtime? If for example the account reputation drops, the account queue fills itself or Mailgun faces technical issues, can we then configure Mailgun to send out notifications, like e-mails to specified addresses?
We are just looking to get alerted when something is preventing e-mails to get delivered. Our clients are asking for this type of feature, just like website uptime monitoring is already a common feature.
Cheers,

Global recipients and tag-based Mailing Lists
Once you start having 5+ mailing lists with recipients belonging to one or more of these, it becomes somewhat cumbersome to manage adding/removing recipients from the lists.
If the recipients would be global and mailing lists simply tags that could be attached to recipients, managing recipients would be easier. Then you could just call for example DELETE /v3/recipients/<email-address> to completely remove a recipient from all mailing lists. Similarly you could add a recipient to multiple mailing lists using a single POST.
I realize this is a major change, but I think it would simplify the platform in the long run.…

Multiple sandboxes for secure CI integration
Hi Mailgun,
The mail sandbox feature is great.
Would it be possible to create additional sandboxes or sandbox subdomains?1 vote -
Email recall functionality
I would like to have the ability to recall emails sent trough mailgun.
Sometimes you send a email by accident.
If the same thing happens in Outlook you are able to recall the email.
This is very important when you send out invoices etc.9 votes -
Default Columns
The default column displayed in Sending > Logs is not sufficient for our needs.
After changing the columns to our requirements, they should hold by user so that each time a user logs in the saved columns are returned.
At present I need to set the columns every time I log in and it is inconvenient to have to do this a number of times every day.2 votes -
Search suppressions list by email domain
PLEASE allow us to search the suppressions list by email domain, not just specific email. Our use of the product means that we often have multiple users from a single domain that we send email to. If something goes wrong with their email server, and they end up suppressed, removing them is a real pain. The customer has to provide us with every possible email that was suppressed, and we have to search them all one by one. I REALLY wish I could just search by domain instead.

Build in one click List-Unsubscribe (RFC 8058) support
Mailgun should provide better List-Unsubscribe support by
- Allowing the following functionality to be turned on/off
- Having unsubscribe / unsubscribe tag pages be compatible (automatically unsubscribe the user in response to a POST request)
- Adding the appropriate List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post headers added to mail
- Include the headers in the DKIM signature

Apply substitutions to BCC of Bulk Email
When doing Bulk Email with recipient variable substitutions, those substitutions are not applied to what is sent to the BCC address(es), so instead of getting a copy of what was actually sent to each of the normal recipients, the BCC is just the template.
I can imagine a variety of reasons why this might happen, but cannot come up with a reason why anyone would want it to work this way.

role-based multi-user access restricted by domain
We were excited to discover the multi-user capability and are even more excited for the possibility of restricting access based on role and domain.
