  1. Option to Retrieve / Export Account Users

    Currently it is only possible to view the users on an account within our control panel. Having a way to retrieve and/or export this information via API would be helpful for customers who do not wish to use our control panel

  2. MJML sending via API

    In addition to the "text" and "html" parameters of the "messages" API endpoint, add another "mjml" parameter. Mailgun should automatically generate the HTML from the MJML and send the email.

    Currently, an intermediary trip to the MJML API (https://mjml.io/api) is required (which is still in beta, so that it might be unsuitable for use in production) in conjunction with the Mailgun API or a custom Node.js service for parsing the MJML before sending it to Mailgun has to be set up.

    Audit logs that cover user events. Events could include:

    login
    logout
    API key rotation
    template change/edit
    mailing list change/edit
    manual suppressions list add/delete/change
    webhooks add/delete/change
    sender key creation/rotation
    domain add/delete
    domain settings (TLS, message retention, tracking settings, etc.)
    user role add/delete/change
    validations job
    IP/IP Pools changes
    authentication changes (SAML, Google Auth, etc)
    account settings changes (billing details, timeout, downgrade/cancellation)

  4. Delete or update specific single queued message

    Good day

    I`ve played with your service about 2 days and i love and want it :)

    my goal is to build a service with which my customers can send emails at a certain time. Your feature to scheduling emails is a very useful tool. cause i can schedule the emails with one simple cron for the next hour and dont have to worry about a overhead or something.

    But Now, there is no way to update or delete a single queued message if my customer do a change. For my case, a drop of the whole queue or the…

  5. Allow exporting logs

    how do i get a detailed spread sheet of my logs i can download
    for example today I have 1949,852 and 206 permanent errors
    how do i get those email addresses and the reasons
    the export supressions for the day only gives me 21 records
    i am not unwilling to upgrade but i don't want a dedicated IP THANK YOU

  6. Search suppressions list by email domain

    PLEASE allow us to search the suppressions list by email domain, not just specific email. Our use of the product means that we often have multiple users from a single domain that we send email to. If something goes wrong with their email server, and they end up suppressed, removing them is a real pain. The customer has to provide us with every possible email that was suppressed, and we have to search them all one by one. I REALLY wish I could just search by domain instead.

  7. Provide a way for users to resubscribe

    The %unsubscribe_url% tag can be used to create a link to the Mailgun unsubscribe page, but once a user has unsubscribed they can't resubscribe themselves later. They might have unsubscribed in error, or changed their mind, but there's no way for them to opt back in themselves.

    Ideally you'd have a "Manage my subscription" page that could be linked to via a tag like the %unsubscribe_url% tag, where a user can either unsubscribe or resubscribe themselves.

  8. Apply substitutions to BCC of Bulk Email

    When doing Bulk Email with recipient variable substitutions, those substitutions are not applied to what is sent to the BCC address(es), so instead of getting a copy of what was actually sent to each of the normal recipients, the BCC is just the template.

    I can imagine a variety of reasons why this might happen, but cannot come up with a reason why anyone would want it to work this way.

  10. User variables fallback / default values

    When using user variables, e.g. %recipient.name%, it would be useful to implement a fallback value for when that variable is not present. For example:

    Hello %recipient.name|Customer%

    So, for the above the output would be either:

    Hello Jane

    or, where the name is not set for the user

    Hello Customer

  11. Stats for multiple domains

    We run a lot of domains (for inbound forwarding) and want to gather daily stats. The only way to do this is to make multiple API calls , 900+ each time. Can we get stats for multiple/all domains at once?

  12. Please support DMARC on Mailgun and make it easy to deploy

    -Please support DMARC on mailgun, and make it easy to deploy.
    - Generate useful TXT entries (just like you already do for SPF and DKIM)
    - Handle the DMARC reports
    - Present DMARC reports in your control panel after decoding the ZIPed XML files the providers send.
    - Convert DMARC failures (and successes?) into web hooks, events and log entries.

  13. Alert and Notify based on Sending Metrics and Usage

    There are some delivery issues which usually warrant manual inspection and care by the administrative users. I feel that continuing to send emails to addresses that have ended up in the Bounces list would at least be one of them.

    It would be convenient if the user could select certain common delivery issues like this and get a notification about them emailed to a specified email address. This email address could then be a mailing list for administrative personel who could look in to the error and see it they should act upon it.

    It is possible to implement this…

    We are currently in concept for a alert and notification feature to allow end user to configure alerts based on any number of sending metrics (e.g. hard bounce rate), notification channel (e.g. email) and filter by (e.g. specific sending domain, recipient domain, etc.).


    Additionally notification may cover usage monitoring (e.g. send me an alert when I have reached 90% of my sending limit for the month).
