Add a Sender Image to your Mailgun account
Add the ability to add a picture by your name -- little box that shows up in Gmail with the image of the sender

Hi all,
Thank you all for your feedback on this topic. I wanted to highlight a blog post from last year covering our position on fixing an image as a sender at Gmail, for example:
https://www.mailgun.com/blog/email/including-a-sender-image/
As such the attribution of a sender image is not something that Mailgun, as a service provider, can facilitate. Additionally with the push for BIMI in the industry this will become the standard, over time, to "assign" an image to your sending.

I'm trying out mailgun -- but why should I use it when it's lacking such an obvious feature?

When Mailgun will add this feature? Can I even add an image via Messages API?

I won't continue to use this service in full production if things like this aren't addressed.

I would really love to get this feature. My emails being avatar-less looks bad.

Is there any news on this suggestion

This would be a great feature to have. I see other companies doing it. Don't know how, they may be using a different mail provider

I do believe the comment S C made is correct though, Gravatar will probably be utilised

Dude even Iconic uses Mailgun and the only way I know that is because this feature is NOT implemented. So technically you could view it as a security risk too that this feature is not yet implemented over 2 years after it was requested.

BIMI will help address this once widely adopted.
In the interim, if Mailgun were to allow image uploading let's not forget you'd need GMail to buy in to query them when an email is received from them. I'm not saying this isn't going to happen but I'd imagine it'd be very, very low on Google's to-do list!
Try creating a Gravatar account for your sending address... I'm not sure if GMail pulls in those images but I think it does. It'd certainly be more likely to process those than ever query Mailgun directly seeing as it's already the semi 'standard' way of associating an avatar with an email address.

This is a widespread feature now and is possible in all standard, customer facing email clients like Gmail, Airmail, etc. It would be really great to get support for this.

Would really like to see this too.

Absolutely! One image per domain would be awesome. I'd like to use my branding in transactional emails, like when a user needs to confirm an e-mail address in order to open an account with my SaaS app.
