  1. Return Search Bar for logs

    There used to be a search bar on the logs page that allowed us to search for anything (from the sender to the subject matter). This has been removed and, from what I can tell, replaced with the filtering functionality (which doesn't allow us to search for stuff in the subject header and other areas as far as I can tell). Could you help me find where I can search for this information again please as this is a huge part of why we pay for Mailgun?     Thank you for your feedback regarding the search functionality changes in our logs page. We understand this has impacted your workflow and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.


    We want to clarify that subjects and email addresses can still be filtered in logs using our new filtering system. To make this easier, we've added:

    • A quick filter specifically for recipient email addresses to streamline the process of searching for recipients
    • Default filter options for recipient addresses and sending domains to reduce the setup time for common searches


    The new filtering functionality was designed to provide advanced filtering capabilities while maintaining system performance. The previous search bar, which searched across all fields simultaneously, was capable of causing system instability under heavy load. Given that reliable service delivery is crucial for your email operations, we prioritized Mailgun's stability and uptime when making this architectural decision.
